Main Duties: 

• Co-ordinate the daily work schedules of all workshop staff
• Prioritise and schedule the daily maintenance and repairs of all Bale Group equipments  
• Maintain a Safe Working Load/Calibration register of all workshop equipments (where applicable)
• Maintain all vehicles and equipment to ADR & Transport of Dangerous Goods by Road Regulations 
• Schedule and maintain a vehicle Service/Inspection & MOT plan in accordance with VOSA regulations
• Produce and maintain Work Records and Job Cards for all Bale Group equipments
• Manage vehicle breakdowns when required (24/7)
• Co-ordinate the servicing and maintenance of all equipments for which Bale Group are contracted to maintain (outside work)
• Quality Control all work carried out
• Maintain a Safe Working Environment and Produce Risk/Method Statements as required

Other responsibilities; money, equipment, materials

• Liaise with suppliers for all equipment and stock supplies
• Manage workshop stores and equipment
• Manage workshop budget

Knowledge and skills required 

• Qualified Commercial HGV Mechanic
• Supervisory experience
• Hold a Class 1 (C+E) driving licence
• Knowledge of Health and safety in a Work Environment
