Hours of work: Full Time hours as required over seven days per week
Reports to: Industrial Services Supervisor/Manager
Wages: Mon-Fri 0600-1800 £10.05 p/h, 1800-2400 £11.00 p/h, 0001-0600 £15.00 p/h
Sat £12.50 p/h, Sun £15.00 p/h
General:
To carry out industrial cleaning operations including working within confined spaces.
Main Duties:
- Carry out cleaning operations to a high standard in accordance with training and Bale Group Ltd H&S procedures, risk assessments and method statements.
- Dismantle, clean, inspect and re-assemble exhaust systems, funnels and coolers of Naval vessels.
- Collect liquid waste from customer sites and deliver to approved disposal sites by tanker.
- Ensure customers are treated with courtesy at all times.
- Ensure client is informed at all times regarding task and H&S issues.
- Comply with customer safety and security instructions at all times.
- To work under own initiative and without supervision.
- Maintain good timekeeping.
- Be prepared for flexible working including out of hours work.
- Work records, timesheets, and all relevant documentation to be completed weekly and returned to Head Office by Tuesday each week.
- Comply with Health & Safety requirements, actively seek to improve safety culture and report any H&S issues/accidents/near misses to your line manager immediately.
- Maintain cleanliness and ensure roadworthiness of any vehicle under your control.
- Any other duties as required by line manager, commensurate with the post holder’s level of training and competence.
Other Responsibilities:
